"UK, we’ve got some catching up to do!"

Jay Sean has announced his Diamond Era Tour UK 2027, with four exclusive headline shows celebrating his career in contemporary R&B and pop.

Between October 5 and 9, 2027, the artist will perform in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and London, marking his first major UK headline run since his sold-out Origins Tour in 2024.

Jay will begin his tour at O2 Academy Leeds before performing at Manchester’s O2 Ritz.

He will then head to the Midlands to perform at Birmingham’s O2 Academy. His tour concludes in the capital at O2 Forum Kentish Town.

The tour comes after a major milestone for the British Asian artist, whose 2009 single ‘Down’, featuring Lil Wayne, has been certified Diamond.

This makes him the only South Asian artist in history to achieve a Diamond-certified single and the first South Asian artist to score a No.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

The achievement follows a string of international successes that established Jay Sean as one of the most commercially successful South Asian artists in Western popular music.

After the global success of ‘Down’, he scored five consecutive Billboard Top 40 hits, including ‘Do You Remember’ featuring Lil Jon and Sean Paul, ‘Ride It’, ‘Maybe’ and ‘2012 (It Ain’t The End)’ featuring Nicki Minaj.

His music reached a new generation of listeners in 2020 when Regard’s remix of ‘Ride It’ returned to No.1 across Europe, going on to accumulate billions of streams and demonstrating the enduring popularity of his back catalogue.

Since his last UK tour, Jay Sean has continued releasing new music, most recently the afro-dance track ‘Body’, which spent 10 consecutive weeks on BBC Asian Network’s A-List.

Speaking about his return to the UK, Jay Sean said: “UK, we’ve got some catching up to do!

“There’s something about performing back home that just hits differently. You’ve been part of this journey since day one, and these songs hold so many memories for all of us.

“I can’t wait to get back on stage, relive those moments, make some new ones, and celebrate the Diamond Era together.

“This one’s going to be special.”

Fan sign-up has opened, with general on sale opening on November 13, 2026.

Beyond music, Jay is also expanding into television and other entertainment projects.

He is preparing to launch a premium podcast series, Everything Changes, which will explore identity through conversations about careers, friendships, family, success and failure.

A documentary examining his career and musical legacy is also in production with award-winning filmmaker and cinematographer Unjoo Moon.

Meanwhile, Jay Sean is developing and starring in a scripted comedy series, Not Quite There Yet, alongside BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning production company Big Deal Films.

The Diamond Era Tour will bring together Jay Sean’s biggest hits, fan favourites and music from across his career, celebrating a legacy that has helped open doors for South Asian artists in the international music industry.
