"Don't push. Please don't hit me."
Social media footage showed Raveena Tandon and her driver being heckled by a mob.
This came after the actress’ car allegedly hit a woman as a result of dangerous driving and leaving the alleged victim’s relatives traumatised.
The incident reportedly occurred outside her Mumbai residence.
It was claimed that when confronted, a drunken Raveena got out of her car and abused the alleged victims.
Footage showed locals surrounding Raveena and calling the police, with one alleged victim heard saying:
“You will have to spend the night in jail. My nose is bleeding.”
Raveena urged people not to record videos and as she was attacked, she said:
“Don’t push. Please don’t hit me.”
A man who identified himself as Mohammed later claimed that his mother, sister and niece were passing by Rizvi College when Raveena’s driver ran over his mother.
He claimed: “When they confronted, the driver assaulted my niece and even my mother.
“Later, Raveena too stepped out in an inebriated state and hit my mother so much that she suffered serious head injuries.”
Mohammed went on to say that he and his relatives were waiting at Khar Police Station for four hours but no complaint was taken.
He added: “They asked us to get it settled out of the police station. But why should we settle scores with them?
“My mother has been assaulted and I demand justice.”

Despite the allegations, CCTV footage showed Raveena Tandon’s car carefully manoeuvring around the women, with no one being hit.
A source close to the actress said:
“Raveena was assaulted by this group of people, and it was an attempt to enter her house.
“As you can see in the CCTV footage, her car didn’t even touch the lady in question.”
“After her car entered the building, the mob started demanding the driver to come out and speak to them.
“In an act of trying to stop the mob from lynching her driver and watchman, Raveena tried to intervene and protect them from this group of people.
“In the process, she suffered injuries.
“The driver did not injure the lady as per the viral video doing the rounds on the internet. This is a case of personal security being compromised.”
It is clearly visible in the CCTV that actress Raveena Tandon’s car did not hit any woman.

DCP Raj Tilak Roshan confirmed that no case has been registered:
“Raveena (Tandon) was coming home. Her car was taking a reverse. The lady who walked past got mad at her driver and said drive carefully.
“The car did not touch the lady but a verbal spat ensued. Raveena got out and got into an argument.
“We don’t have written complaints from either party, so there is no case.”
