"He is just that naturally good-looking man."
In a viral video on Reddit, Ranbir Kapoor was seen discussing who he felt was a good-looking actor.
In the clip, the star was having a conversation with Imtiaz Ali, whom he worked with on Rockstar (2011) and Tamasha (2015).
As they travelled together in a bus, Imtiaz asked Ranbir:
“Who do you think is a very good-looking actor or has been?”
Ranbir replied: “I think my grand-uncle Shashi Kapoor. He is just that naturally good-looking man.
“A lot of people have good faces. His son Karan has a beautiful face.
“But I think through [Shashi]’s positivity – you could see that this is a good human being.
“This guy doesn’t have any negativity. He is an easygoing guy. My mother said that he was just the nicest guy.
“When she got married into the family, he was so nice, and she also worked with him as a hero.
“She said that while working with him, he had no intentions, no agendas – he was just pure.
“So, I think he is very good-looking.”
Ranbir Kapoor added that his grandmother Krishna Kapoor was really funny.
“My daadi was the funniest woman I have ever met.
“She was sitting by Shammi Kapoor and he was very quiet.

“She just said to him, ‘Remembering the old days, are you?’

The veteran star Mumtaz stated that she felt Shammi was one of the most handsome actors.
She said: “Shammi was breathtakingly handsome, no doubt about it.
“Nowadays, heroes don’t look that good.”
Mumtaz previously revealed that she and Shammi had a love affair but she turned down his marriage proposal.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Imtiaz Ali last directed Amar Singh Chamkila (2024).
Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Animal (2023), for which he won the 2024 Filmfare ‘Best Actor’ award.
