A fine selection of street food will deliver a complete Desi experience for concert-goers.
The British Asian DJ-duo, Panjabi Hit Squad, will put on an entertaining show for the crowd attending Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s concert on August 14, 2016.
They will be performing live in the O2 Piazza from 4pm to 6pm, before the Pakistani singing sensation takes centre stage at the main arena.
The popular duo, Rav & Dee, take over the airwaves every week on the BBC Asian Network with their style and pumping energy.
They have also played to hundreds and thousands of spectators at various international events for big brands like Nike, Apple and BAFTA.
Supporting Rahat’s widely-anticipated concert in the UK, Panjabi Hit Squad will undoubtedly put on an unforgettable show for all music lovers!
In addition to Panjabi Hit Squad, the O2 has revealed details of other activities that will be taking place from 2pm on the day.
The public can steal some dancing tips from Bollywood choreographer Jay Kumar, who will be at the piazza at 4pm-5pm.
They can also expect a South Asian feast, where a fine selection of street food will deliver a complete Desi experience for concert-goers.
While Kothu Kothu will bring an authentic taste of Sri Lanka to the arena, Asma Khan’s Darjeeling Express will treat you to those much-loved family recipes that have been passed down several generations.
Serving flavourful Pakistani street food will be Bun Kabab, and providing refreshing beverages will be Kingfisher Beer and Mojito Lemon UK.
Rahat will be introduced by BBC Asian Network’s Noreen Khan and kick off his show at 7pm, where the world famous Qawwali singer will charm our ears with his greatest hits.
