Authorities have assured the public that the perpetrator will be apprehended and brought to justice as soon as possible.
This latest case comes on the heels of another deeply troubling incident involving a minor girl in Shah Inayat Colony, Khara Road.
On July 25, 2025, CCTV footage captured a man molesting a young girl who had been playing outside with another child.
The video shows the suspect approaching from behind as the children rode their tricycles, targeting the girl when her companion moved ahead.
When left alone, the man committed the heinous act before fleeing the area, leaving the victim in a state of shock and fear.
Horrified, the girl screamed and ran home to her family, while the disturbing footage quickly circulated online, igniting fury among citizens.
Both incidents have highlighted the alarming vulnerability of women and children in public spaces, even in broad daylight.
Citizens across the county have voiced their frustration, demanding that law enforcement agencies step up patrols and enforce harsher punishments.
Activists have reiterated that without systemic changes, these attacks will continue to occur, robbing women and girls of their basic right to safety.
