Pakistani design students lit up the runway at a fashion show hosted by The Millennium Universal College (TMUC) in Islamabad.

The event’s theme was ‘Transforming Minimalism into Ultimate Couture – The Magic U’ll C’.

It featured original collections by the graduating design class of 2025.

These students are part of TMUC’s exclusive partnership with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), a leading UK institution in creative education.

UCA holds a Gold TEF rating and ranks in the UK’s top ten for Fashion Textiles and Film programmes.

The show highlighted how minimalism can evolve into high couture when shaped by artistic discipline, cultural identity, and bold imagination.

Each designer brought a unique perspective, combining international trends with local influences.

Collections stood out for their craftsmanship, concept, and clarity of vision.

Chief Guest Dr Maen AM Khreasat, Ambassador of Jordan to Pakistan, applauded the work.

He called the show “a celebration of talent and creativity”.

He also described Pakistan as his “second home” and praised the energy and potential shown by the young designers.

Industry figures added star power to the evening. Actor Faisal Quraishi and designer Rani Emaan were seen applauding students from the front row.

The models’ polished looks were created under the direction of Fayeza Kamal Amin, a respected name in Pakistani makeup and styling.

Her work gave the show a sleek, professional finish, enhancing the visual impact of the student collections.

The event marked more than a final presentation; it served as a launchpad for students entering the fashion industry.

He said: “Our aim is to prepare students not just for degrees, but for life in the global creative economy.”

The evening closed with a strong message: Pakistani students, when given the right platform, are capable of competing at a world-class level.

The show also reflected TMUC’s growing role in connecting academic excellence with creative industries through international partnerships.

With collections that challenged conventions, the students proved that fashion is not just style—it’s serious, expressive work with global relevance.
