Retailer Marks & Spencer are getting ready for the new season as they launched their Spring/Summer 18 collection in India. They held an exclusive fashion show on 8th February 2018, held in Mumbai.
While many stars attended the event, all eyes focused on the two big names walking the ramp – Esha Gupta and Ali Fazal.
The Bollywood actors led the fashion show, wearing beautiful pieces from the collection.
Don’t you think the stunning Esha looks vibrant and glamorous in her colourful ensemble?
She wore a pink, floral shirt, with a low neckline that revealed her cream, summery bikini top. The shirt, tied up at the bottom, also gave fans a tantalising glimpse of her slim torso.
She matched this with yellow, statement trousers – reminding us of the warm, glorious Sun. Finished with a pair of red-and-gold heels and her luscious hair styled into loose waves, Esha looked ready to embrace Spring and Summer!
Ali, who starred in Victoria and Abdul, looked smart and suave on the catwalk with his suit. He wore a navy blazer, paired with royal blue trousers and a multicoloured shirt. A perfect mix of formal, yet cool attire.
He accessorised the garments with brown shoes and a brown belt. We also love his hairstyle, slicked up looking fresh and stylish.
With pieces such as these worn by Esha and Ali, we can’t wait to see what else is in Mark & Spencer’s latest collection. Belinda Earl OBE, the retailer’s Womenswear and Global Style Director, launched the event and told reporters:
“I’m thrilled to be here in India to launch the new Spring Summer 18 collection. The collection is the epitome of contemporary British fashion and style, full of colourful pieces with strong attention to detail that we know our Indian customers love.
“For womenswear, we’re showcasing four key trends with a distinctive colour palette that offer feminine style and confident summer dressing. Whilst in menswear we see expert tailoring mixed with fashionable separates.”
The show gave its audience a taste of what to expect, with various male and female models taking to the ramp. The pieces certainly do capture the zest and charm of the upcoming season.
Stylists Aastha Sharma and Pratinva Pratap Singh also appeared on the catwalk, as well as bloggers Santoshi Shetty and Sarang Patil. Meanwhile, many style icons and Indian celebrities attended the show, looking just as fabulous.
Television actress Sapna Pabbi looked utterly chic in her outfit; wearing a striped skirt with a patterned, graphic shirt. It showed off her flawless silhouette and beautiful legs.
Also making an appearance was the ‘Pilates Girl’ Namrata Purohit, who looked stunning. She matched black trousers with a one-sleeved, red top, containing cut-out panels.
With stars such as Esha Gupta and Ali Fazal leading the catwalk, it’s clear Marks & Spencer’s show became a massive success. No doubt many will be eager to purchase a few items from the collection – including the actors themselves! Esha said at the launch:
“I am such a huge Marks & Spencer fan, I love the new Spring Summer collection. There are so many beautiful pieces to choose from but my favourite has to be the floral and botanical inspired dresses and tops.
I’ve also got my eye on some of the red and blue pinstripe shirts.” Ali also expressed similar thoughts and revealed:
