At least two individuals touched her inappropriately.
Pakistani actress Mahira Khan faced physical harassment during a promotional event for her film Love Guru in London.
The incident occurred at the Indo-Pak Supermarket in Ilford.
Mahira, accompanied by co-star Humayun Saeed, was overwhelmed by an aggressive crowd of fans.
Videos circulating on social media captured moments where she appeared visibly distressed as she tried to navigate through the chaotic gathering.
Reports suggested that at least two individuals touched her inappropriately.
Sources close to the event revealed that security arrangements were insufficient, contributing to the escalation of the situation.
Despite feeling uncomfortable and shaken, Mahira Khan chose to continue with the event.
It was also disclosed that the actress did not receive any payment for the appearance, which she attended purely to promote Love Guru.
The supermarket reportedly paid £5,000 for the event, but none of this money went to Mahira or Humayun.
During the ordeal, Humayun stepped in to shield Mahira Khan from the crowd, as he guided her through the melee.
His quick intervention was crucial in ensuring her safety and preventing further harm.

Humayun’s actions were widely praised as an example of professionalism and care toward his colleague.
Following the event, Mahira Khan expressed her disappointment and shock directly to the organisers.
The incident raised serious concerns about the lack of proper security, especially for public appearances involving celebrities.
Adding to the gravity of the situation, a female journalist covering the event was also harassed by attendees.
She later filed a formal complaint with the police.
Love Guru stars Mahira Khan alongside Humayun Saeed and is set to release during Eid-ul-Azha 2025.
The promotional event in London was part of the film’s marketing campaign aimed at reaching the South Asian diaspora.
Meanwhile, Mahira recently addressed her conflict with Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.
The actress had previously criticised Qamar on X.
Reflecting on this, Mahira Khan admitted: “If you’re asking whether I was wrong – yes, I was. I should have messaged him directly.
“He’s absolutely right that I should have spoken to him before tweeting.”
The tweet came after news emerged that Qamar had allegedly been abusive towards a woman.
Mahira continued: “It didn’t matter to me who the woman was.
“We often don’t speak out against powerful people because we’re afraid of losing work.
“I saw the news, got angry, and tweeted. That was one incident, but there have been many.
“I can’t separate the artist from the man, and that’s my stand on it.”
