"Just see how he treats an unknown female."
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s concert in Dhaka was an occupying event for those involved.
However, it seemed that not everyone in the audience enjoyed the night.
A clip of the audience at the concert went viral on social media, allegedly showing a disturbing scene.
The video appeared to show a man in the audience rubbing his hands on an unknown woman.
She appeared uncomfortable and turned her head a little to see what was happening to her.
Meanwhile, the man stared straight ahead while he touched her.
The user who shared the clip wrote: “This is one of the many videos of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan concert that took place in Dhaka on December 21.
“The man with a red scarf is Sarjish Alam, one of the top lieutenants of Yunus.
“And the identity of the man in the black jacket is unknown.
“Just see how he treats an unknown female.”
While the authenticity of the clip could be questioned, viewers reacted angrily to what they saw.
One user commented: “Poor girl, she is well aware of the fact that what will be the consequence if she reacts.
“How come the person recording the video remained a mute spectator?”
Another added: “Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected, and situations like these should be reported to the appropriate authorities.
“To take action against inappropriate behaviour.”
A third person declared: “Disgusting!”
However, some users questioned whether the woman in the clip truly did not know the man who touched her.
One user said: “Please share the full video and make it clear whether she knew him or not.”
Another said: “Idiot. How can you be sure she is unknown?”

If the clip was genuine, such a scene is certainly degrading, and it highlighted the trauma women can face at concerts.
Meanwhile, the Dhaka event was not Rahat’s first concert in Bangladesh.
On December 20, 2024, he performed at the charity concert titled Echoes of Revolution.
The musician performed without payment and treated fans to an event of soulful music and heartening renditions.
