The shocking discovery was made on December 1, 2024, when Shobitha’s husband, Sudhir Reddy, contacted the Gachibowli police.
This was after he failed to reach her despite multiple attempts.
Police forced their way into her home and found her body.
A police official confirmed the incident, stating:
“She was found dead in her residence in Kondapur, under the jurisdiction of Gachibowli police station.
“She is suspected to have died by suicide. A case has been registered.”
Her final Instagram post, shared on November 16, 2024, has since become a point of mourning for fans and colleagues alike.
Many have expressed their disbelief and sorrow in the comments, with one user asking:

Born on September 23, 1992, in Bengaluru, Shobitha developed a passion for the arts from a young age.
She attended Baldwin Girls’ High School and later graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) with a degree in Fashion Design.
Despite her academic background in design, her true calling was in acting.
She carved out a significant place for herself in the Kannada entertainment industry through her remarkable talent and dedication.
Shobitha became widely recognised for her performances in popular Kannada films such as Vandana, Eradondla Mooru, Jackpot, and ATM: Attempt to Murder.
