"It’s amazing how cinema can unite us all.”
Jacqueline Fernandez made a stunning style statement as she kicked off her Cannes 2025 appearance in two striking ivory outfits.
The actress was honoured at the third annual Women in Cinema Gala, hosted by the Red Sea Film Foundation at Hotel du Cap on May 15.
The event recognises women from Asia, Africa and the Arab world who are shaping global cinema.
Jacqueline shared a series of photos from the event on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse of her elegant looks.
She wrote: “Power-packed panel of ‘Women in Cinema’. We discussed our moments of challenges, joy, and dreams together.
“It’s amazing how cinema can unite us all.”
Her first look featured an ivory shirt dress with a collared neckline, front button closures and full-length sleeves folded at the elbows.
The simple silhouette was elevated with a jewelled silver body accessory that wrapped around her torso and hips.
The sculptural piece included chain detailing, circle amulets, arm bands and metal tassels, adding texture and shine to the monochrome palette.
Jacqueline Fernandez styled the outfit with black slingback pumps, a bracelet watch, a statement ring and sparkling earrings.
Her hair was tied into a sleek bubble-braid, and her makeup included fuchsia lips, pink eyeshadow, flushed cheeks, glowing highlighter, and kohl-lined eyes.
For her second outfit, Fernandez chose a classic white shirt with front buttons, a collared neckline and cinched cuffs.
She layered it with a gilded corset, which featured a plunging neckline and glittering embellishments, enhancing her silhouette. She paired it with straight-fit trousers in a matching ivory tone.
This look was accessorised with silver pumps, pearl earrings and a single ring.
Her hair was styled in soft, blow-dried waves with a side parting. She wore mauve lips, pink eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, flushed cheeks and glowing contours to complete her glam.
With these two contrasting yet cohesive looks, Fernandez struck the perfect balance between elegance and innovation.
For the Women in Cinema Gala, Jacqueline was joined by Zambian-Welsh writer-director Rungano Nyoni; Egyptian actress Amina Khalil; Saudi actress Elham Ali; Thai actress Engfa Waraha; Syrian filmmaker Gaya Jiji; and Saudi filmmaker and artist Sarah Taiba.
Jacqueline’s Cannes debut this year places her firmly in the fashion spotlight, while celebrating a platform dedicated to women’s voices in global cinema.
