Pakistani model and social media influencer Huma Saleem’s Instagram account is no longer accessible.
The account became inaccessible a day after she accused an unnamed national cricketer.
She alleged that the cricketer subjected her to harassment, threats and emotional abuse.
Visitors attempting to view her profile are now met with the “Sorry, this page isn’t available” message.
The account disappeared less than 24 hours after she made the allegations.
Huma used Instagram Stories to level a series of serious allegations recently.
The cricketer’s identity was not disclosed in her posts on social media.
In her post, Huma described the cricketer in harsh terms.
She called him a “cheat, fraud, and womaniser” in her public statement.
She said he had continued to target her despite having no contact.
The two had not communicated for the past two months before the allegations. She said:
“This famous cricketer has crossed all limits with me today by threatening and harassing me.”
She alleged that the abuse was not new or recent in nature.
“I have faced this harassment even while I was with him.
“I have been in an abusive relationship and remained silent, but this time my threshold has exceeded.”
Huma also claimed the cricketer had tried to damage her professional standing.
He allegedly reached out to her colleagues, family members and workplace associates.
The efforts appeared designed to harm her reputation and professional relationships.
She said she intended to expose his conduct further in public forums.
Huma mentioned what she described as the misuse of funds provided.
The Pakistan Cricket Board allegedly provided funds that were misused by him.
She said she was preparing to take legal action against the cricketer.
Huma planned to submit evidence to her legal team to support claims.
“Every story has another side.
“He defamed me in front of people, cheated on me, and lied to everyone about us.”
She added that she planned to move forward with court proceedings.
The legal action would commence in the coming days, according to the statement.
Huma is a familiar name in Pakistan’s fashion industry, widely known.
She is recognised for her modelling campaigns and lifestyle content creation.
She has done extensive brand collaborations with various Pakistani fashion companies.
Her social media presence has made her a prominent influencer in the industry.
The reason behind her account’s removal or suspension remains completely unclear.
It is not known whether the action was taken by Instagram or if Huma Saleem deactivated the account.
