Zeb Bangash has officially confirmed that Pakistan Idol is returning to complete its long-awaited second season.
The announcement was made through her Instagram Stories, where she shared behind-the-scenes glimpses from the upcoming production.
Bangash posted a screengrab from a video of herself preparing for filming alongside photos with fellow judges and contestants.
She wrote: “Our Pakistan Idol bulbuls are back and so are we.
“Coming soon to you all! Thank you all for the love and for missing us so much! We missed you too.”
Her warm and enthusiastic message expressed genuine appreciation for the patience shown by fans during the extended production pause.
The confirmation follows weeks of mounting speculation triggered by a series of behind-the-scenes posts from the show’s judging panel.
Previously, Bangash shared a video of herself getting ready for filming before appearing on the Pakistan Idol set.
That video showed her alongside fellow judge Bilal Maqsood, further fuelling fan anticipation about the show’s imminent return to screens.
In the caption accompanying that post, she wrote: “It takes a village.”
She warmly thanked her dedicated team for their continued support.

In June 2026, director Nadeem J had confirmed publicly that production had resumed following the unexpected and prolonged pause.
He expressed hope at the time that the series would return to viewers by the end of July or sometime in August 2026.
He noted that the team was carefully ensuring the format met the franchise’s high international standards as set by Fremantle globally.
