Ravi Gulati will make a determined bid to repair his relationship with Priya Nandra-Hart in next week’s EastEnders, but his jealousy could jeopardise any chance of a fresh start.
After returning to Albert Square with regrets over how he treated Priya, Ravi is desperate to prove he has changed and can be the partner she deserves.
However, despite his hopes for reconciliation, Ravi remains fixated on discovering the identity of Priya’s secret lover.
His relentless questioning threatens to push Priya away, leaving viewers wondering whether he will uncover that Max Branning is the man she has been seeing.
The storyline also raises questions over whether Priya is ready to move on from her fling with Max and give Ravi another chance, or whether the truth will destroy any hope of rebuilding their relationship.
Earlier in 2026, Ravi was admitted to a mental health unit after being diagnosed with Complex PTSD.
Following treatment, he briefly reunited with Priya before deciding he needed to continue his recovery journey alone.
Since then, Ravi has returned to Walford filled with regret over his past behaviour, although the future of his relationship with Priya remains uncertain.
Aaron Thiara, who plays Ravi, recently reflected on the character’s future.
He told Digital Spy: “I’m open to anything.
“I think what EastEnders does so well and with the actors and the characters within it is we go through all these nose dives into this story and pull out and we go to another story.
“So as an actor, you have to just be ready to be pulled in any direction.”
Discussing Ravi and Priya’s relationship, Aaron added:
“That seems to be what the fans want. So yeah, maybe something along those lines.”
“But to be honest, I’ve been very fortunate to play such an array of different stories and different tones and colours and emotions.
“And I feel like, having done four years, whatever they throw at me, I will go with it.”
Whether Ravi’s determination is enough to win Priya back remains to be seen, especially as Max’s secret involvement with his former partner continues to hang over the pair’s future.
