he asked viewers if he should "rape" her at night.
An Indian YouTuber has sparked widespread outrage in Turkey after uploading a series of sexually degrading videos about Turkish women.
Malik SD Khan, also known as ‘Malik Swashbuckler’ online, was reportedly detained by Turkish police.
The authorities have not yet issued an official statement, but it was reported that he was taken into custody last week.
In several now-deleted videos, Malik made degrading comments about Turkish women, deliberately speaking in Hindi so that they would not understand him.
The clips, however, were quickly flagged by Turkish social media users and reposted across platforms.
In one video, Malik was heard referring to a Turkish woman as “maal” and “item”.
Another video showed him entering a shop and questioning why there was no Indian flag displayed, during which he also used abusive language towards the shopkeeper.
A disturbing clip showed Malik with his Turkish female tour guide. Speaking in Hindi, he asked viewers if he should “rape” her at night.
After backlash erupted online, Malik deleted his YouTube and Instagram accounts. However, his videos continue to circulate on various platforms.
Viewers were outraged by the YouTuber’s remarks, as one said:
“The guy is a disgusting idiot and a disgrace to my country.”
Another believed it was one example of a wider issue involving Indian YouTubers:
“Indian YouTubers sexualise women of host countries, use their pictures as video thumbnails, ‘assumes’ women trying to marry them if she talks to them.”
This Indian guy is Malik Swashbuckler.

Throughout one video, his tour guide is seen laughing, unaware that she is the subject of such remarks.
One person said: “I feel sorry for the Turkish girl, who I think he has hired as a guide.
“Poor girl doesn’t understand that he is abusing her and her country and she just laughs, trying to be polite.”
“I hope the Turkish police show him some real Turkish hospitality!”
Turkish viewers have demanded legal action, calling the videos disgraceful and deeply offensive.
One user wrote on X: “Disgusting behaviour from a so-called tourist. Our women are not here for your cheap content.”
The outrage follows a wave of political tension between the two countries.
Several Indian tourists had earlier announced a boycott of Turkey in response to its pro-Pakistan stance.
The controversy has triggered debate around online hate, digital accountability, and the treatment of women abroad.
