Social media users are devastated by the reports that Aima Baig and Shahbaz Shigri have called off their engagement.
The singer and actor had been in a relationship since 2019.
They announced their engagement in July 2021.
However, fans of the couple were saddened by the reports that they have split up.
The rumours circulated after some fans noticed that on Aima and Shahbaz’s respective social media accounts, they removed pictures of each other.
Eagle-eyed netizens also saw that the couple were no longer following each other on Instagram.
Fans took to social media to make their feelings known.
One person said: “Aima Baig and fiance Shahbaz Shigri have reportedly blocked each other on Instagram.
“The couple was supposed to get married this year, removed all pictures of them together.”
Another said: “Too long relationships without nikkah end up with breakup. Yessss that’s it!!”
A third person commented: “Things are not so great between Shahbaz Shigri and Aima Baig.
“Both broke up. Removed each other pictures and unfollowed.
“They were engaged and the couple was among the most loved couple of Pakistan. What went wrong nobody knows.”
One person urged others not to make such claims without conclusive proof.
“People are so shameful and disgusting they are throwing toxicity of their homes in the comment section of others, by saying katgya you won’t look cool shameless filthy b******ds.
“It’s so pathetic to bully someone without knowing the truth behind it. May Allah keep the couple happy.”
Others believed that the couple purposely removed their social media pictures together as they are planning a surprise announcement for their fans.
Despite the ongoing rumours, Aima and Shahbaz have followed each other on Instagram again, indicating that a breakup is not the case.
Meanwhile, Aima was recently in London for her first-ever concert in the city.
She performed at the 02 Arena, however, she was trolled after she sang ‘Cheap Thrills’ by Sia.

Netizens mocked her for singing it out of tune and for failing to hit the high notes.
One said: “She chose a very difficult song and didn’t sing it well.”
Another commented: “English songs are really not your type.”
A third wrote: “She has many good songs of her own but she chose to give us a cheap version of ‘Cheap Thrills’.”
