Social media users have speculated that Aima Baig and Shahbaz Shigri are back together again.
The pair were previously in a relationship and built a strong fan base of online supporters.
Soon after they announced their relationship, the pair began appearing together publicly, with both Aima and Shahbaz frequently exchanging heartfelt comments on each other’s social media posts.
The duo was then engaged in a private ceremony.
When the fans began to wonder when they will get married, the pair shocked fans when they publicly called off their engagement.
In a statement, Aima said: “Yes, I will always respect this person for giving me a good time.
“Sometimes, sh*t happens for a reason. And to answer all your questions, yes we have parted ways. But we are both doing good and fine, so don’t worry.
“I wanted to do it in the most respectful way and so I did.
“People can choose their ways of expressing their feelings, which define who they are from the inside.
“That’s me telling the truth to anyone wondering if they are or they are not together. And the answer is, nope. Me and Shahbaz are not together anymore.”
The pair also unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Things took a turn when British model Taloulah Mair accused Aima of cheating on Shahbaz with filmmaker Qes Ahmed.
Taloulah also shared screenshots of messages between them.
As soon as the news broke out, social media users instantly blamed Aima.
Shahbaz Shigri continued to remain silent over the matter.
Aima later responded and although she did not give a clear answer as to whether the cheating claims are true or not, she said people should check the “authenticity” of the proof provided and not believe in stories posted for “money” and “followers”.
Fans now believe that Aima and Shahbaz are back together again.
The pair have followed each other on Instagram.
However, people have shared their theories regarding the apparent rekindling of love.
Some think that they are getting back together after Aima Baig sang Kaifi Khalil’s global chart-topper song, ‘Kahani Suno’.
They believe that Aima intentionally sang that heartfelt song to show her feelings for Shahbaz Shigri.
In a previous interview after her breakup with Shahbaz with UrduPoint, Aima got candid about her marriage plans.
The host asked: “What kind of person would you marry, would it be a businessman, a policeman, a person in the entertainment industry or an army officer?”
Responding to the question, Aima revealed:
“Whoever it is, he should be decent, empathetic and kind.
“He should be a companion.”
However, Aima was sure to point out that she is not in a hurry to be married.
She said: “I have zero expectations, now, I have no expectations.
“I don’t need a man in my life. If anyone comes it would be a bonus, otherwise I don’t need a man.
“Even if someone comes he should be good, currently I am married to my music.”
