"Her designs capture the essence of glamour and style."
Hiba Fawad has launched her own fashion label named after her daughter, Nisa Hussain.
She is the wife of Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology in Pakistan.
The Nisa Hussain brand made its debut at the 10th Hum Bridal Couture Week in Lahore where Hiba displayed her bridal dresses and collections.
At the event, popular actresses Hareem Farooq and Resham were the showstoppers. Meanwhile, Arif Lohar brought in a lot of energy to the ramp.
Nisa Hussain closed Show 1 at the Hum Bridal Couture Week with a gorgeous collection of bridal and wedding outfits.
The collection included 16 pieces and had a diverse colour palette ranging from neutrals to red, with rich, luxurious materials and embellishments.
Hiba Fawad said that Pakistani bridal dresses are among the finest dresses in the world, and the Pakistani fashion industry has made a name for itself globally.
On Nisa Hussain’s website, a post read:
“Hiba started her brand under her daughter’s name Nisa Hussain.
“Her designs capture the essence of glamour and style.
“We are professionals when it comes to offering exclusive ranges of designer dresses in all shapes and sizes, for any occasion.
“Nisa Hussain has been a popular place for Pret, Formal and brides clothing, as we offer an exclusive range of dresses.
“We strive for customer satisfaction, and that is why we put a lot much effort into helping out our customers.
“Nisa Hussain will cater to all needs and regularly restock our shelves with the latest designs.”
In a statement, the brand added:
“The collection reflects the brand’s take on traditional subcontinental bridalwear, infused with the designer’s signature silhouettes and embellishments.
“Set in rich, luxurious materials such as velvet, tissue, organza, cotton net, jamawar and shamoise, the collection features artisanal gold, copper, pearl, tilla and tabkakora embroideries with a diverse colour palette ranging from neutrals to red and everything in between.”
When her husband, Fawad Chaudhry was asked if he aimed to launch a menswear fashion label, the minister said he would only stick to politics.
Like Mehwish Hayat and Hareem Farooq, many Pakistani stars went crazy for Hiba’s collection and endorsed her brand through shoutout videos.
In her video, Mehwish said:
“I want to wish Nisa Hussain all the very best for the latest velvet ready-to-wear collection that has just launched.”
“You can check their beautiful designs out on their website, which is www.nisahussain.com.
“Also, watch out for their amazing Pashmina collection that’s going to be launched very very soon. All the best.”
The Hum Bridal Couture Week was the first major fashion week held in a physical space after Covid-19 hit Pakistan.
