Bollywood newbie Alaya F made her runway debut
A host of Bollywood celebrities graced the catwalk at Lakme Fashion Week summer-resort 2020 adding star power to the event.
The prestigious event took place from 11 February 2020 to 16 February 2020 at the Jio Garden in Mumbai, India.
The Lakme Fashion Week 2020 bought the chance for designers to showcase their spectacular creations along with the added power of Bollywood stars.
Lakme Fashion Week 2020 kicked off with a picturesque parade of creations from designers from Gen Next on the ramp.
These included Akhil Nagpal, Chandrima Agnihotril, Ananya Modi Jain and the pair Mannat Sethi and Harshana Kandhari.
These spectacular designers were handpicked from 300 budding designers by the finest experts in the fashion industry.
Bollywood star Neha Dhupia turned showstopper for designer Itishree Satpathy. The actress and talk show host wore a stunning outfit featuring a loose silhouette.
The ensemble consisted of a quirky blazer with bouffant sleeves and a striped belt collars. This was paired with a maxi skirt featuring red and white players complete with polka-dots.
Sunny Leone captivated the runway in an outfit designed by Swapnil Shinde.
The chic ensemble featured a graphic t-shirt dress, open-toe knee-high boots and an oversized black jacket.
Actress Rakul Preet Singh shone in a white frill blouse with a black neck-tie and cropped black trousers.
Bollywood diva Malaika Arora graced the ramp for designer Varun Chakkilam’s ‘The Utopian Dream’ collection.
Malaika donned a stunning red contemporary lehenga complete with alluring hand embroidery.
One of Bollywood’s most loved couple Bipasha Basu and Karan Grover took to the Lakme Fashion Week 2020 runway.
They walked for designer Sanjukta Dutta and wore beautiful black and gold ensembles made from Assamese silk.
