Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal shared a picture of himself along with his son Arik, yet a fan pointed out the knife he was holding in his hand.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, 8 June 2020 to share the picture, Arjun can be seen sitting on the sofa with a beaming smile.
In his arms is his son Arik who has got his back to the camera while Arjun is holding a knife.
He captioned it:
“A day well spent. #homie.”
Model and actor Rahul Dev commented on the picture with a red heart emoji.
Other users shared their admiration of the father-son duo. Nishacharak957 said: “O how sweet both of you” while selinabhairon said: “Gorgeous. Love you Arjun @rampal72.”
Many fans also commented with red heart eye emojis and kissing emojis.
However, a worried user pointed out the blade in Arjun’s hand saying:
“Why are we not talking about the knife in his hand?”
Typically, sharp objects like knives are associated with violence as a means of evoking fear.
However, Arjun Rampal reassured his fans that they had nothing to worry about and explained why he was holding the blade. He said:
“Was baby proofing the house when he ran into my arms, but I love this image that’s why I shared.
“Hope u calmer now.”
Arjun Rampal regularly shares pictures of his family members and family life proving he is a family orientated man.
Recently, Arjun remembered his late father in a heart-warming post on social media.
Alongside sharing a black and white picture of his late father from his younger days, he wrote:
“Always a baller, always a rockstar, always the heart of a party, always ahead of your times. Miss you Papa. Miss your wit, your bluntness.
“I know you always there for us. 6 years have passed since you left. You will live in our hearts forever. Love you.”
Arjun Rampal also shared a picture of his late mother with the caption:
“Miss you today and everyday. I know you are here with me. So why do I miss you so much????? My mother my hero, my light. Love you Mamma.”
Similarly, in May 2020, the actor shared a picture with his two daughters, Mahikaa and Myra from his first marriage with former model Mehr Jesia. He said:
“Finally time with my beauties. #daughters.”
The former couple ended their 21-year marriage in November 2019 after parting ways in 2018.
Meanwhile, Arjun welcomed his son Arik with girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades in July 2019.
