"I very much tend to use wrong synonyms to describe certain things"
The recent news of Aima Baig’s ‘heart attack’ stirred waves of concern and speculation among her fans and the public.
Initially, when she said she was hospitalised due to a “mini-heart attack”, her fans were understandably alarmed and eager for updates on her condition.
However, her use of the term “mini-heart attack” raised eyebrows and invited criticism.
Many medical professionals also clarified that such a term does not exist in medical parlance.
As the controversy unfolded, Aima addressed the growing concerns surrounding her health.
She expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and reassured her fans that she did not suffer a heart attack as initially suggested.
Instead, she attributed her hospitalisation to dehydration and neglecting her own well-being amidst a demanding schedule.
Aima wrote: “One more thing I wanna clear is that – it wasn’t a HEART ATTACK (by now people who know me should know I very much tend to use wrong synonyms to describe certain things – sorry my bad).
“It was more like extreme exhaustion, lack of sleep, zero food and major dehydration situation – but yes my BP did go up from 88 to 200, which was clearly an emergency scenario.”
In her statement, Aima emphasised the importance of prioritising health over work and career commitments.
She urged others to learn from her experience and take better care of themselves.
The singer continued: “Everything in a nutshell – it was my own negligence towards my health – it happened 2-3 weeks ago, when I was travelling like crazy from one place to another with zero amount of sleep, no food and zero intake of any liquid.
“I had forgotten that we all are human at the end of the day – NOT ROBOTS.
“We all must take care of ourselves.”
She also admitted that it was “totally” her fault for not “taking proper care” of her body.
Despite her clarification, some criticised her for exaggerating her health condition by using the wrong term.
They accused her of seeking attention and fuelling further speculation.
Regrettably, the situation took a distressing turn, with rumours circulating about Aima’s health and lifestyle choices.
Accusations of drug use have surfaced, with some speculating that Aima Baig’s hospitalisation was a result of an overdose rather than dehydration.
A user said: “She probably just OD’d.”
One commented: “Sis just tell the truth. It was probably alcohol or drug abuse.”
