"I feel sad for those who fell into this thirst trap."
Archita Phukan is quickly gaining attention for her bold content on Instagram and explicit clips on her subscription platform.
Known online as Babydoll Archi, she first gained attention for her viral reel Dame Tu Cosita UN-GRRR.
Archita’s feed is filled with revealing outfits, eccentric editing and glitch-heavy filters. This has quickly made her a recognisable name in India’s digital space.
She recently hit headlines for a picture with American adult film star Kendra Lust.
However, the post and other images have led some people to wonder if Archita is actually a real person.

Sharp-eyed users pointed out that the lighting, symmetry and skin texture in the image appeared overly smooth, almost plasticky.
It is suggested that the visual quality and proportions resemble AI-generated outputs rather than a genuine photograph.
Her name on Instagram has also changed to Amira Ishtara.
The controversy deepened after an Instagram page called Just Assam Things posted a breakdown alleging that Archita is not a real person.
Calling it “a case of digital deception”, the page compiled visual comparisons between Archi and multiple real women across Instagram.

In one slide, a creator named Biry Cortez is seen in a leopard print swimsuit, mirrored almost identically by a post from Archi.
Other slides show similar correlations, including one woman in a red dress, another posing at DLF Avenue, and one whose original post was tagged in Kolkata, while Archi’s post claimed to be taken in Delhi.
The post claimed: “The face used in the viral content may belong to a real girl from Dibrugarh, but no concrete confirmation has been found so far.
“Sources also suggest that a professional group or individuals may be behind this deliberate fabrication.”

Speculation escalated when the page suggested that Archita’s likeness may be part of a monetised AI operation.
It continued: “It is suspected that a deal may have been struck with international adult content platforms, including possible coordination with Kendra Lust’s brand, either knowingly or unknowingly, to lend credibility to the AI persona.”
The debate has since spilt over to Reddit, where several users believe Archita Phukan is an AI-generated persona, with a face superimposed onto the bodies of real women.
One Redditor wrote: “Bruh she’s just an AI-generated made-up character.”
Another commented: “It is actually concerning how so many people, even at this stage of AI, when the character consistency, the textures are still not perfect, we can fool a whole bunch of people with it. Damn!”
One comment read: “The dude behind the account is printing money right now. I feel sad for those who fell into this thirst trap. Lol.”
Another blunt take read:
“AI has officially taken over. Sad.”
The allegations are unconfirmed, but the widespread nature of them has sparked curiosity and concern.

On Archita’s Instagram page in 2023, she said she was a former sex worker who paid to escape.
The post read: “After enduring six long years trapped in the dark world of prostitution in India, I managed to break free from its clutches, despite having paid nearly Rs 25 lakh for my supposed freedom.”
No follow-up details were ever confirmed publicly, and little is known about her life outside of social media, where her Instagram profile has over 1.2 million followers.
Despite the widespread theories, no verifiable evidence has emerged to prove that Archita Phukan is AI-generated.
What remains is a digital mystery, one that raises questions about the influencer and the future of online authenticity itself.
