John Abraham usually keeps his personal life out of the spotlight.
But while his on-screen charm continues to win fans, it’s his off-screen property choices, especially in Mumbai’s most desirable areas, that reveal a sharp business acumen.
The centrepiece of his real estate portfolio is a stunning Rs 60 crore (£5.1 million) duplex penthouse in Bandra West, which he calls Villa in the Sky.
Perched on the 7th and 8th floors of a premium residential complex, the Arabian Sea-facing home is widely regarded as a design triumph, and for good reason.
Designed by his brother Alan Abraham, the penthouse boasts uninterrupted views of both the sea and Mount Mary Hill through floor-to-ceiling glass walls.

“Basic” is how the actor described his plush living room, fitted with understated wooden furniture and soft-toned sofas. A handcrafted wooden staircase links the two floors of the penthouse.
The upper level houses John’s full-fledged gym, a reflection of his well-known dedication to fitness.
John’s terrace garden, filled with lush trees and greenery, adds to the retreat-like ambience.

It also offers sweeping views of the sea, giving the illusion of being far removed from Mumbai’s bustle, even while sitting in its very heart.
This award-winning home is not just a luxurious address but also a symbol of how John Abraham blends privacy, design, and mindful living in one of India’s busiest cities.

While Villa in the Sky is John’s primary residence, he’s also made bold moves elsewhere in Mumbai’s high-end property market.
The actor purchased a sprawling bungalow on Linking Road, Khar, for Rs 70.83 crore (£6 million).
The deal included a 5,416-square-foot bungalow and the 7,722-square-foot plot of land it sits on, cementing his position among Mumbai’s most strategic real estate investors.

Beyond buying and designing luxe spaces, John Abraham has also turned landlord.
It is reported that in June 2025, he leased three high-end apartments in the Sea Glimpse Co-operative Housing Society, located on Bandstand, another coveted Bandra address.
With a monthly rent of Rs 6.3 lakh (£5,400) and an eight per cent annual hike built into the five-year lease, the deal is expected to fetch him Rs 4.3 crore (£369,000) in rental income.
John’s real estate footprint doesn’t stop at India’s borders.
He also owns property in Los Angeles’ Bel Air, a neighbourhood known for celebrity residents like Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie.
He also has a home in Central London, which is reportedly used as an overseas base for his production house, JA Entertainment.

From luxury living in Bandra to income-generating assets and international holdings, John Abraham’s real estate portfolio is a masterclass in strategic investment.
Yet, it’s Villa in the Sky, with its calm design and sweeping sea views, that remains his most defining address.
