Bollywood actress, Sara Ali Khan has taken the film industry by storm with her impeccable acting skills and beauty.
The actress made her Bollywood debut with the film, Kedarnath (2018), alongside Sushant Singh Rajput.
Since then she has gone on to star in the film Simmba (2018) opposite Ranveer Singh.
Despite being only two films old, Sara has captivated the hearts of millions of fans with her on-screen and off-screen appearances.
Yet, what did the star look like before entering Bollywood?
Previously this question could not be answered by many. Despite Sara candidly speaking about her weight loss transformation we did not know what she looked like.
On Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee with Karan, Sara revealed that she was 96kg during her days at Columbia University. She said:
“I had PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), I still do and because of that I think I put on the amount of weight that I did.”
However, now the star has revealed what she used to look like before finding fame.
The actress took to Instagram to share a video of herself allowing fans an insight into her appearance before hitting the big screen.
Sara captioned the video: “Presenting Sara ka Sara Sara. Let’s make ‘light’ of what it was … Let’s also make it lighter than what it was.”

In the video, fans are treated to a throwback from the time when Sara Ali Khan was not in the spotlight.
Sara can be seen goofing around with her friends on an aeroplane while the song ‘Sar Jo Tera Chakraye’ from Pyaasa (1957) plays in the background.
The 24-year-old looks almost unrecognisable in the short clip shared on Instagram.
Despite Sara looking drastically different. One thing is certain the young starlet has always had a playful personality.
Now, Sara Ali Khan is a gym enthusiast who regularly shares videos on her Instagram. She is seen working out with her pilates instructor Namrata Purohit.
