Wasim Akram & wife Shaniera share Their Quarantine Fun

Former Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram and his wife Australian-born Shaniera Akram have shared a glimpse of their quarantine fun on social media.

Undoubtedly, the pair is one of Pakistan’s much-loved couples. Despite Shaniera being Australian by birth her acceptance and fondness of Pakistan shows her connection with the nation.

Shaniera and Wasim regularly take to social media to share their incredible bond with their fans.

There is no denying their strong chemistry and sense of humour on their respective social media.

Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, Wasim and Shaniera are in quarantine along with their family at home.

It appears the couple are making most of their time at home and have not let the quarantine put a damper on their spirits.

They shared their quarantine fun and showed their fans how they are keeping themselves engaged during this difficult and uncertain time.

Taking to Instagram, Shaniera posted a series of pictures showing herself, Wasim and their daughter dressing up for role play while maintaining social distancing.

In the pictures, we can see the trio posing in different wigs while pulling funny expressions. Shaniera wrote:

“Quarantine got us all like …….”

It appeared the former reverse swing bowler Wasim Akram was unaware that his wife would be posting these pictures on Instagram.

Upon seeing the pictures, Wasim Akram posted a hilarious warning to Shaniera saying she would receive a phone ban for an hour. He wrote:

“Whaaaaaaaat?! You posted these??! Where are you??? You can hide but you can’t run!!!! 1 hour phone ban for you.”

In another series of pictures shared by Wasim Akram, he was seen looking fit and healthy after his morning workout.

Upon seeing his picture, Shaniera took to the comment section to share her views on her husband.

She too left a humour comment under her husband Wasim’s picture stating she would look much better once her squat challenge was complete. She said:

It’s not all about looking good and feeling good and then posting pics showing the world that you are looking and feeling absolutely amazing at 54!!!

“Hahahah. You just wait till my @chrishemsworth 21 day squat challenge is over!”

It is always a treat to receive a glimpse into the life of Pakistan’s much-adored couple Wasim and Shaniera.

The couple got engaged in July 2013 and married the following month in Lahore, Pakistan.

Shaniera gave birth to their daughter Aiyla in December 2014, in Melbourne, Australia.
