“Look what quarantine has done to certain people.”
Former cricket star Shoaib Akhtar has thrown shade at Wasim Akram’s wife Shaniera Akram for their quarantine pictures on Instagram but she has a quick reply.
During the coronavirus lockdown, celebrities have been keeping their fans up to date with glimpses of their quarantine lives.
It is certainly entertaining to see how the celebrities keep themselves and their families entertained while being stuck indoors.
Recently, Shaniera shared pictures of their quarantine fun on social media. It appears Shaniera and Wasim were making the most of their time at home as they dressed up.
Shaniera took to Instagram to post pictures of herself, Wasim and their daughter. The trio had been dressing up for role play while maintaining social distancing.
Dressed in different wigs and posing while pulling funny facial expressions, Shaniera captioned the pictures:
“Quarantine got us like ……”
Their quarantine fun received thousands of likes from their fans, however, Shoaib Akhtar made a little jibe.
He shared their pictures along with the caption, “Look what quarantine has done to certain people.”
Many fans on social media believed his comment was aimed at throwing low-key shade at the couple, therefore, Shoaib removed the post as a result.
In response to Shoaib’s comment, Shaniera shared a picture of the former cricketer with the caption:
“In response to your recent post @imshoaibakhtar, if our excuse is quarantine, then what was yours?”
Despite fans applauding her comeback, Shoaib mocked Shaniera for not making a better comeback.
It also appears Shaniera and Wasim are not the only ones sharing their quarantine fun.
In fact, former cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq recently uploaded a video of himself in a completely new avatar.
In the video, the former cricketer is seen wearing blue eye shadow, red lipstick and a red wig.
He revealed the credit behind his new look went to his young daughter. He captioned it:
“Stay safe, stay at home with your loved ones and enjoy our clip.”

Many of his fans flooded the comment section with praise for Saqlain Mushtaq. Moviz.hassan said:

It is certainly a delight to see their quarantine fun regardless of the snide comments they may receive.
