ZEE5 Global has announced its upcoming Telugu original Nayanam, premiering on December 19 and marking a major milestone as Varun Sandesh officially enters the OTT space.

Directed by Swathi Prakash, the psychological thriller promises a gripping narrative that delves deeply into the human mind, where the fragile boundaries between truth and obsession begin to distort.
The six-episode series presents Varun Sandesh in a completely transformed role as Dr Nayan, which breaks away from the charismatic persona familiar to his long-time fans.
The poster launch offered a first look at his darker and more psychologically layered character, setting expectations for a tense and unpredictable journey.
Varun described the role as one of the most demanding experiences of his career, explaining that the series required him to explore emotional depths he had not previously encountered.
