Samantha Ruth Prabhu surprised fans by announcing she had married The Family Man co-creator Raj Nidimoru.
It was a quiet ceremony at Sadhguru’s Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, with only family and close friends in attendance.
Samantha posted a few pictures on Instagram.
The actress wore a red saree with intricate zari work, paired with gold jewellery and white flowers in her hair. Raj opted for a white kurta set and beige Nehru jacket.
Before the ceremony, they exchanged rings and posed together, with Samantha proudly showing her diamond wedding ring.
The wedding photo dump captures a series of intimate moments.
It begins with Raj placing a large ring on Samantha’s finger inside the temple.
The sequence moves to the couple offering prayers, followed by a close-up of Samantha holding Raj’s arm. In the frame, she flaunts her kite-shaped ring, mangalsutra and bridal mehendi.
Another image shows the newlyweds taking blessings.
The final photograph captures them walking away, smiling as they begin married life.
Alongside the pictures, Samantha simply wrote: “01.12.2025.”

The surprise wedding comes after the pair faced months of speculation.
Curiosity deepened after Samantha began ‘soft-launching’ the filmmaker on Instagram through a series of subtle posts, though neither commented on their relationship.
They first worked together on The Family Man Season 2 in 2021, where Samantha’s performance earned widespread acclaim. Their association continued with Citadel: Honey Bunny, co-starring Varun Dhawan.
Rumours intensified earlier in 2025 after Samantha was seen seated beside Raj at the World Pickleball League while cheering for the Chennai Super Champs.
Their appearances together at the tournament prompted further questions about their relationship status.
This wedding marks a second marriage for both.
Samantha was previously married to Naga Chaitanya, with the couple parting ways in 2021. Naga Chaitanya later married actress Sobhita Dhulipala in 2024.
Raj was previously married to Sshyamali De, with reports suggesting their separation in 2022.
