A Bradford woman who smuggled heroin from Pakistan into the United Kingdom has been handed a lengthy prison sentence after a major investigation.

Sidrah Nosheen, aged 34, was jailed for 21 years and 6 months following the discovery of drugs worth millions.

Investigators established that she played a central role within an organised crime network importing heroin and distributing it nationwide.

The sentencing followed a detailed operation led by the National Crime Agency, which tracked shipments and communication links overseas.

A search of her bedroom revealed heroin concealed inside clothing consignments that had recently been delivered to her address.

Further quantities were found hidden inside bags, buckets, and a wallpaper pasting table used to process drugs.

Investigators also recovered weighing scales and tools, indicating the property functioned as a preparation and distribution point.

Authorities valued the seized heroin at approximately 8.5 million pounds, reflecting the scale of the operation.

Prosecutors later confirmed that Nosheen acted as a trusted intermediary between suppliers in Pakistan and dealers in Britain.

Digital evidence uncovered hundreds of messages exchanged with an accomplice abroad discussing supply routes and logistics.

These communications detailed how heroin shipments were disguised as commercial clothing imports to evade detection.

During the investigation, officers also discovered unopened boxes and remnants from packages already processed.

Financial evidence showed that Nosheen handled large sums of criminal proceeds on behalf of the network.

On one documented occasion, she collected 250,000 pounds in cash from another criminal contact.

Prosecutors said the money represented payment for multi-kilogram drug consignments distributed across several cities.

Despite outwardly living a quiet and unremarkable life, Nosheen maintained deep involvement within organised crime.

At Bradford Crown Court, she admitted conspiracy to supply heroin and conspiracy to import the drug.

Her guilty plea came shortly before trial, leading directly to sentencing without contested proceedings.

The court heard that her actions contributed to addiction, exploitation, and serious harm within communities nationwide.

A senior NCA official described her as being at the heart of a sophisticated and damaging criminal enterprise.

He stated that appearances were deceptive, as her daily life concealed extensive criminal coordination and responsibility.

Investigators stressed that the trade she supported inevitably fuels violence, dependency, and loss of life.

Officials noted that she showed little concern for the devastation caused by Class A substances

They said that Sidrah Nosheen prioritised financial gain over the social consequences of drug trafficking.
