First, let’s discover more about ‘Tooti Hui’.
Composition & Lyrics
‘Tooti Hui’ expresses the feeling of heartbreak and the sense of being defeated in love.
Some of the lyrics go: “You have become a habit to me. I search for you everywhere.
“I am only tangled in your memories.”
These lyrics can evoke a wide range of emotions in listeners, particularly those who have faced similar experiences.
This sublime track requires a despondent yet entrancing melody. The song achieves it through its soft notes and haunting beat.
The instrumentation includes drums and percussion by Ganesh Venkateshwaran and guitar and bass by Akshay Gaikwad.
The composition by Palak Rannkka is expertly crafted, leading to a heart-wrenching number.
Vocals
For this song to work, it was essential for the vocals to be memorable and soulful.
Palak Rannkka is a melodious singer, with a unique tone.
She captures the essence of loneliness and vulnerability beautifully and majestically.
The song presents Palak’s vocals in a variety of intonations, but the rhythm remains consistent, presenting its victory.
If the song was upbeat with different tempos echoing in the track, it would have arguably lost its melody.
However, Palak’s sterling composition blends with her beautiful voice and the result is an everlasting song.
A fan on YouTube comments: “Such a strong yet soothing voice! Very well done and keep going!”
This shows the popularity that Palak Rannkka amassed via ‘Tooti Hui’.
