Taher Shah and his Rise to Fame

Taher Shah, dubbed the “world’s most bizarre YouTube star”, is constantly mimicked and shamed for his presence within the music industry.

Despite this, Shah has made a name for himself as one of Pakistan’s biggest internet stars.

Appearing in an interview recently, Shah revealed that the judgement he received did nothing but strengthen his willpower to continue in his endeavours.

Taher Shah is originally a businessman from Karachi and has had no training in singing.

He gained fame by singing nonsensical songs in English, even though he can barely speak the language.

Beating the odds, Shah earned his name after releasing his debut song ‘Eye to Eye’ in 2013.

He revealed that he was making a comeback with a Hollywood movie, also called Eye to Eye.

The singer had been throwing hints about making a return to the small screen and fans thought they would be treated to another song.

However, Shah is treating his fans to something much bigger than a song, his film! He promises his film to be a riveting story of eternal love, giving a unique and extraordinary cinematic experience.

On June 17, 2023, Shah took to Twitter to express his excitement for his upcoming movie release.

He said: “I am thrilled to embark on this new chapter of my career with Eye to Eye.

“This project holds a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.

“It is a story that resonates deeply with me, and I believe it will touch the heart of audiences globally.”

Shah is reported to be starring, directing and writing Eye to Eye.

Speaking about the concept of the movie, Shah explained:

“Through Eye to Eye, I aim to showcase my creativity and originality on an international platform.

“It’s a project that represents a new era in my artistic journey and I am excited to bring something truly extraordinary to the screen.”

The film will be produced by Eye to Eye Ltd, introducing a diversified cast of Canadian, American and international actors.

When asked about his collaboration, Taher Shah spoke about how he wanted to introduce new talent in the industry.

He said: “I wanted to collaborate with talented individuals from different backgrounds to create a truly multicultural experience.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to work with established artists and introduce new faces to the industry.”
