Pakistani singer Taher Shah will be turning actor and director for a new Hollywood film titled Eye to Eye.
Taking to Twitter, the singer wrote:
“The film will be based on a unique story of eternal love named Eye to Eye.
“Taher Shah has written the film script, dialogue, screenplay, and song lyrics.
“He is also the singer and musician of the film and will play the protagonist character in the movie produced by Eye to Eye Ltd.
“In the film Canadian, American, and international artists will act and new faces will be introduced.
“The movie will be shot in Canada, America, and UAE and will be completed in three phases.
“The Shooting first phase of work will be completed in Canada.
“The second and third phases will be completed in the United States and UAE.
“The film’s pre-production has been completed in North America and shortly its production work will begin.
“It will be Shah’s debut Hollywood film and will be released worldwide. Along with English, it will also be released in the Urdu language.”
In a statement, members of Taher’s team said:
“This movie project was announced a few years ago and once its script was completed the director of the film was also announced.
“But due to schedule issues shooting didn’t begin, After that, due to the Covid-19 (pandemic), it was delayed furthermore.”

Taher Shah spoke about his directorial debut and stated that he “wanted to assure his admirers that his movie will get a huge historical success due to its unique story and through this film, all will see the change in him and his work”.
The pre-production shooting is said to have taken place in North America and that production work was set to take place soon after.
While Eye to Eye is set for a worldwide release, the film’s release date and cast have not yet been revealed.
Taher Shah made headlines in 2013 when his debut song, also called ‘Eye to Eye’, was released. The track made him an overnight sensation.
In 2016, he released his second track, titled ‘Angel’.
The track caused controversy as the music video showed Taher dressed as an angel, wearing a gown and tiara.
It was believed that he left Pakistan due to receiving death threats. It is reported that he now resides in the United States.
