Suhana Khan, the daughter of established actor Shah Rukh Khan, is reportedly set to make her Bollywood debut.
According to reports, Khan is being launched by director Zoya Akhtar.
Akhtar is currently working on a Desi version of the comic book series Archie, and is considering Suhana Khan for a lead role.
Although she is yet to appear on the big screen, Suhana Khan has got some acting experience under her belt.
Back in 2019, she featured in Theodore Gimeno’s short film The Grey Part of Blue.
She is currently in the US studying at New York University, after spending time with her family in Mumbai during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Now, she is reportedly set to follow in her father’s footsteps by appearing on the silver screen.
Suhana Khan has been trending on social media since the news of her potential debut broke.
Many Twitter users are showing their support for Khan, with one saying:
“Would want her to go for a dreamy theatrical debut but this looks exciting too!
“Have seen her acting and I am already rooting for her #SuhanaKhan.”
Another Twitter user also took to the platform to support Khan in making a name for herself, rather than just being the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan.

However, some believe that Khan’s debut just highlights the amount of nepotism present within the Bollywood industry.
Alongside Suhana Khan, Zoya Akhtar is also reportedly casting Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi and Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim.
