"Shehnaaz has joined the cast"
Shehnaaz Gill, who rose to fame after appearing in Salman Khan’s popular reality show Bigg Boss 13, is reportedly going to make her Bollywood debut with Salman’s upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.
As per a report in India Today, the actress will be seen opposite Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in the film.
The actress was last seen in the Punjabi film Honsla Rakh, alongside Diljit Dosanjh.
Shehnaaz enjoys a huge fan base on social media, and her bond with late TV actor Sidharth Shukla became the talk of the town.
India Today quoted a source as saying: “Shehnaaz has joined the cast of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.
“The actress will be seen opposite Aayush Sharma in the movie.”
Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is one of the highly anticipated films, which also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead.
The film is scheduled to release in December 2022.
Aayush Sharma, who is also part of the film, was last seen with Salman Khan in Antim: The Final Truth.
In the film, he played a pivotal role and garnered immense praise from the audience.
In an official statement, Aayush confirmed his portrayal in the film.
He said: “I am looking forward to experimenting with my cinematic aptitude with this project.
“From a romantic drama to an action film and now a family drama, I’m grateful for how my innings in the film industry have panned out.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan also has Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
Also, he has a cameo role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
Recently, when Shehnaaz attended Baba Siddiqui’s Iftaar party for the first time, many reports suggested that it was Salman Khan who took her best care at the event and made sure that she was comfortable.
However, Shehnaaz says that she isn’t that close to the actor.
In Tanmay Bhatt’s show Tanmay Reacts, Shehnaaz Gill mentioned that people think she’s very close to Salman and that they must have met personally many times but that’s not the truth.
The actress added that she has only met him at his chalet.
Meanwhile, Shehnaaz Gill last appeared in the film Honsla Rakh also starring Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa.
The film came out in 2021. Recently, the star made a guest appearance on the talent hunt show, Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan.
