Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh has made sure to bring one surprise after another for his fans in 2022.
The singer recently received love for his Born To Shine Tour 2022 and now he is yet again set to make waves with his upcoming song ‘Chauffeur’ with international rapper Tory Lanez.
The official poster of the song ‘Chauffeur’ along with its release date has been announced.
For the unversed, Tory Lanez is one of the biggest international rappers who rose to fame with superhit tracks.
The rapper is recognised for the hit songs ‘Freaky’, ‘Broke In A Minute’ and ‘Luv’.
‘Chauffeur’ is sung by Diljit Dosanjh in collaboration with Tory Lanez whilst the lyrics and the music is composed by Ikky Music.
Earlier, Diljit Dosanjh had shared several pictures and behind-the-scenes videos while he was shooting for the same with Tory Lanez in Miami.
As soon as Diljit Dosanjh dropped the official poster, his fans couldn’t refrain and shared their excitement for the song.
The track, which is set to be released on April 14, 2022, is also expected to feature on Diljit’s upcoming EP.
Diljit’s Drive Thru EP will join his discography of popular albums including G.O.A.T, Roar and Back 2 Basics.
Sung by Diljit Dosanjh, the Drive Thru EP includes music by producer Intense and lyrics by Raj Ranjodh and Chani Nattan.
The artwork of the EP, which has a similar vibe to Diljit’s MoonChild Era album, was designed by Abhidyu.

Diljit Dosanjh also hinted at the EP’s tracklist in a quirky way on his 38th birthday.
He used food emojis to tease the names of the songs that will feature on the Drive Thru EP.
According to the emojis, the names of his upcoming songs relate to a ‘peach’, ‘noodles’, ‘ice cream’, ‘chilli’ and ‘lemon’.
The release date of Diljit Dosanjh’s Drive Thru EP is yet to be disclosed.
In other news, Diljit has partnered with Warner Music to further his international career.
This is Diljit’s first deal with a major record company.
Warner Music Group, which represents artists like Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and Jason Derulo, expanded their presence to India in March 2020.
The affiliate is led by former Sony executive Jay Mehta and has signed on artists like Rika and Armaan Malik.
With Diljit Dosanjh on board, the record label hopes to tap into the growing popularity of Punjabi music.
