Things do not seem to go as planned.
The latest trailer release of Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne has sparked anticipation in fans.
Pakistani veteran actor Sohail Ahmed is all set to share the screen with Indian star, Diljit Dosanjh.
According to a press release, Ahmed has secured a prominent role in the film with the popular Indian actor and singer.
The trailer of the upcoming comedy, which was recently released, shows Ahmed in his comfort zone, given the genre of the film. Hammad Chaudhry is the executive producer.
The trailer opens with the ‘Lover’ singer along with his friends sharing several money-making ideas among themselves.
He later thinks of adopting a father and getting money from an insurance policy.
Sargun Mehta, who works at an old age home, becomes a part of Diljit Dosanjh’s plan by sharing the health information of her clients.

The trailer goes on to show that Diljit Dosanjh and his friends try their best to keep his ‘papaji’ alive for the next ’25 days’ even though ‘he became unwell as soon as he came’ to live with them.
But things do not seem to go as planned as Ahmed sees a drastic improvement in his health, much to the dismay of Diljit Dosanjh and his friends.
Earlier, Diljit Dosanjh took to Twitter and announced that the film will be released on October 5, 2022.
Along with the poster, Diljit wrote: “Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne Releasing on This Dussehra, October 5. Official Poster Coming.”

Earlier, the film was scheduled for September 30 release but now has been pushed by a week.
Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne will mark the first film with Diljit Dosanjh and Sargun Mehta starring as the leads.
Diljit Dosanjh is currently enjoying a positive response for his performance in Jogi.
In Jogi, Diljit essays the role of a Sikh who cuts off his long hair during the riots to save his family and other members of the community.
The film explores the agony of the Sikh community in Delhi following the assassination of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
In October 1984, violence erupted in the national capital and other parts of the country in which over 3,000 Sikhs were killed across India.
Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film premiered on September 16, 2022, on Netflix.
Apart from Diljit, Jogi also features Kumud Mishra, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Hiten Tejwani and Amyra Dastur.
He is also prepping for Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila biopic. Reportedly, Parineeti Chopra has been roped into star opposite the Punjabi actor.
