Bangladeshi ‘A’ Grade Film ‘Voyal’ unveils Release Date

Bangladesh is gearing up for the release of its first “A” grade film, Voyal, which is set to hit theatres on November 29, 2024.

Directed by Biplob Hayder, the film has recently received approval from the Bangladesh Certification Board, marking a significant milestone for the country’s cinema.

At a press conference on November 12, 2024, key cast and crew members gathered to unveil the film’s official teaser.

Among those present were Cinecraft Creations Chairman Shah Alam, Biplob Hayder, and producer Ashikur Rahman.

All of them expressed their enthusiasm for the project.

Biplob Hayder said: “We’ve poured a lot of care into making Voyal. Viewers will be captivated by the story from start to finish.

“I hope they’ll enjoy it. I encourage everyone to come to the theatre and support Bangladeshi cinema.”

The film features a talented cast, including Irfan Sajjad, Aisha Khan, and Golam Farida Chanda.

Irfan Sajjad remarked on the film’s unique narrative, emphasising its distinct message despite its “A” grade certification.

He said: “Audiences will experience something fresh. Slowly, Bangladeshi cinema is carving out its own space, and I believe Voyal will leave a strong impact.”

Aisha Khan expressed her excitement, describing her character as a rural girl set against the backdrop of the hill tracts.

She noted: “The entire crew worked really hard. Love, passion, and pain are beautifully portrayed on screen, and I hope viewers will appreciate it.”

Golam Farida Chanda added to the discussion by highlighting the film’s exploration of family dynamics.

“Along with the romantic and thrilling storyline, Voyal emphasises the love between parents and their children.

“I invite families to come and enjoy the film together.

“There’s much to learn from it, along with the entertainment. I’m confident the audience won’t be disappointed.”

The film is produced under the banner of Cinecraft Creations.

Voyal features a diverse cast, including Lutfor Rahman George, Mac Badshah, Parvez Shumon, and Iqbal, among others.
