Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will perform at superstar Justin Bieber’s Indian concert. The Canadian singer will soon visit India as part of his Purpose World Tour, with the actress taking part as one of the opening acts.
The Indian gig will take place at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, on 10th May 2017.
Media reports also claim that Sonakshi Sinha is currently working on a brand new single. She will her sing the upcoming song for the first time as part of the performance. Therefore, it seems the Bollywood actress’ performance would be one not to miss!
Previous media reports suggested Sunny Leone would perform at the highly-anticipated concert.
However, Sonakshi Sinha released a statement to announce the news on 13th March 2017 to confirm that she, and not Sunny Leone, would perform as an opening act.
In the statement, she says: “I am really fond of Justin Bieber’s music and I love how his sound has evolved over the years and today he reaches out to a universal fan base. I’m definitely looking forward to this event.”
Promoters of the Purpose World Tour appeared incredibly excited to work with Sonakshi Sinha on her opening act. Director Arjun Jain said:
“We are looking at very innovative opening acts for the Bieber concert and we would love to have Sonakshi to be a part of it. It’s too preliminary to confirm anything but the discussions are underway.”
The upcoming world tour will also see Justin Bieber perform many of his famous songs. These include ‘What Do You Mean?’, ‘Baby’, ‘Boyfriend’ and ‘As Long As You Love Me’.
Sonakshi Sinha is currently enjoying a successful 2017. DESIblitz reported how Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz loved the recent Noor trailer, which Sonakshi stars as the lead character.
And now with the upcoming Justin Bieber world tour, she’s set to win even more success.
