A WhatsApp chat on Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor’s phone has reportedly been leaked online.
Shraddha Kapoor was photographed outside a studio in Mumbai, and the images have been uploaded.
However, one of the photographs includes a shot over Kapoor’s shoulder, which seems to reveal a conversation she was having on her phone.
Shraddha Kapoor was unaware of the photographer who was able to snap a picture of her WhatsApp chat while she was typing.
Now, photographer Viral Bhayani is facing backlash for his invasion of the actress’ privacy.
Bhayani’s images of Shraddha Kapoor were posted to his Instagram on July 30, 2021.

The caption reads:
“#shraddhakapoor walking out of a Mumbai shoot looking completely smitten! She was glued to her phone, grinning slyly and talking to someone called ‘<3 <3 <3’.
“We caught a sneak peek of her conversation and wonder who that could be.”
Instagram users took to the post, slamming Viral Bhayani for invading Shraddha Kapoor’s privacy.
One said: “Viral this is really unprofessional.”
Another wrote: “But this is wrong she has a personal life too pls don’t invade that.”
However, most pointed out that the messages on Shraddha Kapoor’s phone look very fake. One person called out the obvious editing errors with the image, saying:
“OnePlus Phone and iPhone theme on WhatsApp. The Wi-Fi, battery sign is also of iPhone.”
Others also called out Bhayani for doctoring the WhatsApp chat in the first place.
One individual wrote: “Stop your fake edits we caught your editing skills”
Another commented:
“Very cheap of any media channel to have even posted that they intended to look into someone’s phone. Even if it’s editing it’s highly unprofessional on your part.
“People might be interested in whatever idiotic gossip posted on social media but come on have some ethics.”
Shraddha Kapoor is often photographed by the media due to her Bollywood status and her unique sense of style.
Kapoor recently admitted that her fashion choices have changed since the outbreak of Covid-19.
Speaking to IANSlife about her new fashion mantra, Shraddha Kapoor said:
“The entire lockdown period has resulted in all of staying at home more that paved the way towards focusing on the simplest of things in our lives.
“This period was hard for most people but it shed light on how basic things are so easily accessible to us that happen to be the most important things to focus on in life.
“So even towards fashion and beauty, the approach of keeping real, simple and natural has never been so deep-rooted as before.
If at all, I think the pandemic has reaffirmed my approach of minimalism and simplicity towards fashion and beauty.”
