Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has disclosed what life is like before marriage and how it changes after marriage in a hilarious TikTok video.
Shilpa tied the knot with London-based businessman Raj Kundra in 2009. The couple had a lavish wedding complete with a sangeet, mehndi, nuptials and reception.
The extravagant reception was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood in a plush hotel in Mumbai.
Shilpa and Raj share two children, their son Viaan Raj Kundra and daughter Samisha Shetty Kundra.
Taking to Instagram, Shilpa Shetty shared the TikTok video which also featured her husband Raj Kundra. She captioned it:
“How we change!!! The truth may be bitter but funny … Don’t think @rajkundra9 was amused!
“Anything that can make us laugh at this point! #funny #laughs #comedy #beforeandafter.”
In the first half of the video, Shilpa shows what life is like before marriage as the couple is seen laughing timidly with the caption: “Shaadi Se Pehle.”
However, in the second part of the video, the actress shows how life changes after marriage.
Shilpa is seen snorting with laughter and hitting Raj as he looks at her in utter shock at the transformation with the caption: “Shaadi Ke Baad.”
Numerous fans took to the comment section to share their joy of the funny video. Many people commented with several red heart emojis and laughing emojis.
During the nationwide lockdown, Shilpa and Raj have been sharing several funny TikTok videos.
In April 2020, the videos caught the eye of self-proclaimed critic and actor Kamaal R Khan better known as KRK.
He left a cheeky comment saying Raj has certainly made the most of marrying an actress as he makes TikTok videos with his wife Shilpa all day.
However, Raj replied saying:
“Sir Jaisey KRK sub ko manoranjan dethey hai humara bhi farz banta hai Janta ko lockdown mein entertained rakhney ka … nai tho lok #EkVillain aur #Deshrohi na samaj baithey.”
[Sir, just like KRK entertains everyone, it is our duty as well to entertain people in lockdown. Otherwise, people will call us #EkVillain and #Deshdrohi.)
KRK made his Bollywood debut with the film, Deshdrohi (2008) and made an appearance in the film, Ek Villain (2014).
Previously, the actress also urged her fans to abide by the COVID-19 guidelines and respect frontline workers for their efforts. In the video, she said:
“To all my fellow citizens, people look out and stand up for the warriors who are tirelessly working round the clock to keep our community safe.”
“It’s a humble request to please treat these heroes with respect, debunk myths and false rumours and stop the spread of fake news at your own levels. Let’s do our bit too! It’s time to stand united against this pandemic.”
There is no doubt Shilpa and Raj are making the most of their time indoors and are certainly entertaining their fans along the way.
