“Sanju was a really irresponsible piece of garbage“
Sanjay Dutt was trolled by several Instagram users following a message by his eldest child Trishala Dutt.
Trishala took to her Instagram Story to share her thoughts about the effects of an absent parent.
She wrote: “Sometimes, an absent parent is a blessing in disguise.
“Because the demons they carry can inflict more pain than their absence ever could.
“It’s not fair and it’s not right, but you’ll be okay.”
It is important to note that Trishala has always spoken glowingly of her father.
The duo are known to share a close relationship, despite Trishala living in the United States.
However, this did not stop users from targeting Sanjay Dutt.
One user said: “Great way to convey her feelings. Sanju was a really irresponsible piece of garbage and ruined many lives along the way starting with his parents.”
Another one commented: “So many creeps in this industry – Sanjay Dutt and Mahesh Bhatt are the worst.”
Other fans praised Trishala for showing positivity in negative scenarios.
One fan wrote: “Trishala has my respect for how she turned out and deserves all the love and care.”
Trishala was born in 1987 to Sanjay Dutt and his first wife Richa Sharma Dutt.
Unfortunately, just months after giving birth to her daughter, Richa was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour.
She soon left India with Trishala and shifted to her parents’ house in America. She remained in the US until she passed away in 1996.
Trishala was subsequently raised by her maternal grandparents.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt stayed in India to continue his acting career. In 1993, he was embroiled in controversy which saw him arrested for illegal possession of a rifle.
This ordeal lasted until 2016. In between, the actor married Rhea Pillai in 1998. After they divorced, he married Maanyata Dutt in 2008.
Sanjay has two children with Maanyata – Shahran and Iqra.
In August 2022, the Saajan actor took to his Instagram profile to wish and express love for Trishala on her birthday. He said:
“Your birthday will always be one of the greatest moments of my life.”
“Nothing lights up my world like you, @trishaladutt!
“Happy Birthday my princess, Papa Dukes loves you.”
The father-daughter duo should be commended for maintaining such a good relationship despite the distance between them.
On the work front, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in several upcoming projects including Baap and Welcome to the Jungle.
