The year 2024 proved to be a landmark period in Saloni’s career.

Based in Milton Keynes, she solidified her standing as one of the most influential voices in music with her distinctive synthesis of Eastern and Western sounds.

The year began with an electrifying performance at Wembley Arena, setting the stage for a series of remarkable achievements.

Shortly afterwards, her hit ‘Nee Gundellounna’ surpassed one million views on YouTube and made waves on social media, while its success on the Official UK Asian Music Charts affirmed her growing appeal.

During South Asian Heritage Month, TikTok honoured her as a Spotlight Artist and several singles from her discography secured places on the BBC Asian Network A List Playlist.

In October 2024, Saloni unveiled her highly anticipated EP, Rani – a six-track multilingual opus that swiftly clinched the number one spot on the UK iTunes Worldwide Genre Charts.

The EP explores themes of empowerment, independence and resilience.

It was celebrated at an exclusive launch at The Camden Club, where over 200 guests gathered.

This included eminent British Asian figures such as Arjun, Mumzy Stranger, and representatives from BBC Asian Network, Lyca Radio and Sunrise Radio.

Saloni’s remarkable achievements were further recognised with the honours of Music Artist of the Year at the HSBC Ethnicity Awards and Best Urban Artist at the UK Bhangra Awards, accolades that underscored her ascent in the industry.

Her work also received significant media coverage while her Spotify streams surpassed one million, thanks in part to the viral success of her singles.

Reflecting on the past year, Saloni said: “2024 was extraordinary – it’s almost hard to believe so much happened in one year.

“From performing at Wembley Arena to receiving major awards, I am immensely grateful to my fans, family and everyone in the industry for their support.

“I looked forward with great anticipation to what the future would bring.”

As Saloni continues to shatter boundaries and reshape the global music scene, her journey of inspiring others through her unique multilingual artistry is only just beginning.
