The middleweights were on the undercard of Usman Nurmagomedov’s Bellator title defence against Ireland’s Paul Hughes, but Khan’s dramatic finish ensured all eyes were on him.
The highly anticipated match ended in the first round after Nada attempted to block Khan’s kick.

Amir Khan, of no relation to Haider Khan, was full of praise for the rising star, saying:
“Listen, the guy’s a beast. The guy is an animal. He said he heard the click, the breaking of the bone.”
“I mean, he looks in great shape. Sold.”

Nicknamed ‘Darth’, Haider Khan is from Oldham and wants to inspire British Pakistanis.
He said: “I want to inspire people to do things, but not just in the MMA community.
“There’s plenty of things we haven’t done as British Pakistanis. Why not be the first one to go do something in a different realm?
“You’ve got to set the standards and keep pushing. The doors will open if you keep working hard.”
