Priyanka Chopra is reportedly reprising her role as Priya in Krrish 4.
It is reported that Priyanka has been locked for the role by Hrithik Roshan and Aditya Chopra.
The actress will reunite with Hrithik after their successful collaborations in earlier films from the franchise.
A source told Pinkvilla: “Hrithik and Priyanka are a successful pair and have an excellent work relationship.
“It was more of a no-brainer for PC to come on board Krrish 4, as the story continues the journey of characters from Koi… Mil Gaya to Krrish, Krrish 3, and now the fourth instalment.
“The actress was bowled over by the vision of Hrithik Roshan to take the franchise forward, and was ecstatic to see him take over the challenges of directing the film.”
Pre-production is underway at YRF, with a YFX team working on the film’s visualisation.
Meanwhile, Hrithik and Aditya are working closely with a team of writers to fine-tune Krrish 4‘s script.
The source added: “There are some projects which are designed keeping VFX in mind, but Krrish 4 is a film where the inception of VFX stems from the story, which is magical. Pun intended.”
Priyanka Chopra’s reported return comes after it was confirmed that Hrithik would direct Krrish 4.
Previous instalments were directed by his father Rakesh Roshan but a statement read:
“I am passing the baton of the director of Krrish 4 to my son, Hrithik Roshan, who has lived, breathed and dreamt about this franchise since its inception with me.
“Hrithik has a clear and a very ambitious vision of taking Krrish’s journey forward with the audience for the next decades.
“I couldn’t be more prouder to see him wear the director’s hat for a film that means the world to us as a family.
“Krrish has entertained audiences the world over and Hrithik will now reveal the next chapters of this superhero saga and take the vision I created so many years ago to greater heights.
“It brings me so much joy to see someone like Aditya Chopra as the producer of Krrish 4.”
“It was he who convinced Hrithik to sit in the director’s chair.
“Adi and Yash Raj Films have the knowledge, understanding and technological might to produce this film and add great value to this project.
“Hrithik and Adi coming together as a producer-director pair with me behind them is a rare and deliciously creative combination.
“I am sure they will turn Krrish 4 into a theatrical experience that has never been made in India.

Krrish 4 is scheduled to begin filming in early 2026. It will also bring back Jadoo, the alien character first introduced in Koi… Mil Gaya.
