Hrithik Roshan has been entertaining Bollywood fans as an actor for over 25 years.
Since his debut with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000), the star has captured hearts with his impeccable acting, charismatic dancing, and infectious screen presence.
Hrithik is now gearing up to sit in the director’s chair for the first time as he takes the reins of his much-awaited extravaganza Krrish 4.
The Krrish franchise is one of the most popular film series in Bollywood. It began with Koi… Mil Gaya (2003) which starred Hrithik Roshan as the mentally challenged Rohit Mehra.
Rohit accidentally summons an alien named Jaadoo who gifts him supernatural powers.
The film spawned the sequels Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013) which explored the journey of Rohit and his son Krishna Mehra.
After donning a cape and a mask, Krishna becomes a superhero named Krrish.
Ever since the release of Krrish 3, fans have eagerly awaited another film in the series.
Up until now, all films have been directed by Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan.
Rakesh confirmed that Hrithik will be directing Krrish 4 himself. Rakesh and Aditya Chopra will jointly produce the film.

“Krrish has entertained audiences the world over and Hrithik will now reveal the next chapters of this superhero saga and take the vision I created so many years ago to greater heights.
“It brings me so much joy to see someone like Aditya Chopra as the producer of Krrish 4.
“It was he who convinced Hrithik to sit in the director’s chair.”

Before entering the industry as an actor, Hrithik assisted Rakesh on films including Khoon Bhari Maang (1988), Karan Arjun (1995), and Koyla (1997).
Apart from Hrithik, the Krrish franchise has also featured actors including Rekha, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Naseeruddin Shah.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan will next be seen in War 2 with Jr NTR. The film is scheduled to be released on August 14, 2025.
