A Pakistani wife from Hafizabad was arrested for allegedly murdering her husband.
On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, police said that the unnamed woman brutally beat her husband to death with a stick following a domestic dispute and years of arguing.
It was reported that the victim refused to let his wife out of the house, causing her to resent him.
The couple had been married for almost 30 years and had three children.
As well as the man’s oppression of his wife, the couple regularly argued over domestic issues.
The man’s refusal to let his wife go out had resulted in an unhappy marriage.
This prompted her to take extreme action. On Monday, April 27, 2020, as her husband slept, the woman took a stick and beat him to death.
A police case was registered by the victim’s brother against the Pakistani wife. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested the woman.
The woman was taken to Kasoki Police Station where she booked for murder. The investigation is ongoing to determine if she was responsible for her husband’s murder.
Meanwhile, the victim’s body was sent to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital for a post-mortem.
In another case of a wife murdering her husband, a woman from Sindh was arrested after she killed her husband for not buying her new clothes. The woman resides in the Khairpur Nathan Shah area of the province.
The incident took place on Friday, April 5, 2019. The unnamed suspect confessed to the crime following her arrest.
According to reports, the victim, identified as Shahnawaz Junjeo, had refused to buy his wife new clothes.
She became enraged and it resulted in an argument between the couple.
The altercation escalated when the woman took an axe and attacked her husband with it.
Local residents came to the victim’s aid and took him to the hospital where he died due to a loss of blood.
Meanwhile, police officers were informed of the woman’s attack on her husband and arrived at the scene. The suspect was arrested and the axe was seized.
A senior police official confirmed that the woman had been taken into custody.
In her statement, she told police that she had murdered her husband. She said that she killed him after he refused to buy her new clothes.
A police official said that the victim’s body has been taken to a hospital where a post mortem will be conducted to confirm the extent of his injuries.
