This is not Orry’s first legal issue.
Social media personality Orhan Awatramani, known as Orry, was summoned by Mumbai Police for questioning in a major drugs case.
He was called by the Anti-Narcotics Cell after his name came up during the interrogation of an accused trafficker.
The police are investigating a large-scale mephedrone racket uncovered in 2024 in Maharashtra, valued at approximately £21 million.
Investigators deported and arrested accused trafficker Mohammad Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh in November 2025 for alleged involvement in the network.
Shaikh is described as a close associate of alleged drug kingpin Salim Dola, connected to the Dawood Ibrahim syndicate.
The case involves allegations of drug supply, laundering through hawala routes, and transportation using luxury cars, according to police sources.

During questioning, Shaikh claimed he organised high-profile rave parties for public figures across film, fashion, politics and other sectors.
He reportedly named several attendees. These included Orry, Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhant Kapoor, Abbas-Mustan, and politician Zeeshan Siddique.
Shaikh also alleged the presence of Alishah Parkar, a relative of Dawood Ibrahim, at some of these gatherings.
Shaikh allegedly supplied drugs to those who attended the events.
The Mumbai Police are summoning those named to verify Shaikh’s statements and determine their relevance to the wider investigation.

Orry has been called to provide information about any possible links to the accused or knowledge of related events.
He was not in Mumbai during the initial summons and asked for a new appearance date after November 25. Authorities are considering the request.
This is not Orry’s first legal issue. He was booked in March 2024 in Jammu and Kashmir for allegedly consuming alcohol in a restricted pilgrimage zone.
It is reported that Shaikh is a close aide of Dola, overseeing drug production networks in several Indian states.
Dola is accused of controlling drug operations from overseas with assistance from his son Taher and relatives.
Several associates have been deported this year. Others remain at large and are believed to still be outside India.

Police believe Dola relocated to Turkey after deportations linked to his network earlier in the year.
Shaikh confessed to organising parties for celebrities and gangsters in India and abroad during his interrogation with Mumbai Police.
Officials are now examining whether other traffickers arranged similar events and whether further questioning is required.
