British-Iranian comedian and actor Omid Djalili is set to bring his latest stand-up show, ‘Namaste’, to Salford later in 2026.
The award-winning performer will appear at The Lowry on November 11 as part of an international tour that has already entertained audiences across Canada, the United States, Australia and Singapore.
Known for combining fearless political satire with energetic storytelling, Djalili’s new show promises an evening packed with humour while reflecting on some of the world’s most pressing issues.
‘Namaste’ sees the comedian turn his frustrations about the current state of the world into comedy.
The show explores topics including climate change, terrorism, financial instability, ocean pollution and the depletion of natural resources.
Rather than offering despair, Djalili transforms these concerns into sharp observations and witty commentary, encouraging audiences to laugh while reflecting on global events.
