Nausheen Shah slams Trolls for Body Shaming Minal Khan f

“Since when have we become this insensitive and pathetic?"

Nausheen Shah has defended Minal Khan after she was pictured at her brother’s wedding and trolled for her weight gain.

Minal posted a series of photographs with her family members celebrating the happy couple.

Minal and her twin sister Aiman both gave birth towards the end of 2023.

However, post-pregnancy pictures of the sisters invited trolls to body-shame them.

It seemed that trolls could not see past Minal’s weight gain even though she gave birth merely months ago.

One comment read: “Their weight gain has taken away all their beauty.”

Another said: “What has happened to these two sisters, they have become so fat.”

A third added: “Both sisters have become too healthy.”

One user said: “They are becoming fat aunties with every passing day.”

Others labelled the pair “moti”.

However, it seems that Nausheen Shah was angered by the cruel remarks and took to the comment section to educate the trolls.

She said: “You look so beautiful. Please take your time and enjoy your life. Guys, she just gave birth to a baby. Leave her alone, please.

“Since when have we become this insensitive and pathetic?

“Only God knows what a woman goes through in her 9 months of pregnancy.

“It hurts when people say mean things, it really does.

“When will we start seeing more women support each other? People have no fear of God left in them.

“Stop body shaming a mother. Becoming one is not a joke and I am sure many women will agree with me.”

Although there were a handful of negative comments, fans of the twins came forward in their defence after they were ridiculed for their choice of dressing for their brother’s wedding.

Some even went as far as saying Minal seemed unhappy with her brother’s choice of bride.

One fan wrote: “Uneducated public. Decent people dress exactly like this. They don’t take away the limelight from the bride.”

Another commented: “Both sisters look adorable after their weight gain. May you always stay happy.”

A third said: “These comments are so pathetic. There is so much negativity in you people. If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything at all.

“Let them live their lives, it’s their choice what they get up to. You guys don’t give up any reason to criticise.”
