"What happened to them? They are like cows."

Acting sisters Aiman and Minal Khan were captured in a post at their brother’s dholki event, dressed elegantly in black.

During the ongoing celebrations of their brother’s wedding, they were enjoying a sweet moment with their brother and Aiman’s daughter.

However, amid this joyous occasion, some viewers did not hesitate to critique the sisters’ physical appearance.

This was specifically directed at their apparent weight gain after both gave birth towards the end of 2023.

One comment said: “Two fatties.”

Another said: “What happened to them? They are like cows.”

One wrote: “They are becoming fat aunties with every passing day.”

Others labelled the pair “moti”.

In addition to criticisms about their weight, Aiman and Minal’s dressing styles were also targeted.

One comment read: “A person should dress according to what their physique allows.”

Another wrote: “The dresses would actually look good on them if they were not fat.”

One said: “I wouldn’t wear these dresses even casually. Seems like even brands don’t sponsor their clothes now.”

These critical comments attacked the sisters’ appearance rather than celebrating the happy moment they were sharing with their Instagram family.

Nevertheless, despite the negativity, some fans came to Aiman and Minal’s defence.

They provided possible explanations for the change in the sisters’ appearance.

One supporter argued: “They both gave birth just a few months ago. This happens. Before you say anything, beware of karma.”

The comment shed light on the natural physical changes that can occur after childbirth.

Comments like these urged others to consider empathy and kindness.

Another user expressed their support, stating, “They are still just as beautiful.”

One wrote: “It is so strange. People don’t look at themselves before commenting on others’ appearance.”

Another suggested:

“If you can’t say anything positive, don’t say anything at all.”

These were replies to a troll who had attacked the sisters.

Aiman and Minal Khan are very often subjected to intense scrutiny and body shaming.

The comments directed at them highlight the prevalence of body image criticism in Pakistan.

On the other hand, the sisters’ fans continued to defend them from the haters despite being outnumbered.

They are constantly reminding others that the sisters are beautiful inside out.

They claim everyone should look beyond the physical experience as beauty is fleeting.

One loyal fan said: “Everyone should know that beauty fades.”
